Introduction: Phoenix Youth Circus Arts holds classes that are open to kids ages 7-15. At our weekly classes, kids are introduced to all the juggling, balancing, and acrobatic arts and also given the opportunity to put extra effort on the skills that give them special joy. Informal demonstrations at the end of each class introduce kids to circus as a performing art – and opportunities to participate on a voluntary basis in public shows throughout the year are sought and encouraged. Find the title of the class you are interested in for details on dates, times, and locations

Class prices: A single class is $15. A four-pack of classes (usually in a calendar month) is $45. There are sibling discounts when more than one child from the same family attend the class. Check it all out and participate in your first class for free! Cash and checks (made out to TAPAZ-PYCA) are accepted at the class location.  Use this link to pay by credit card and to see a full list of prices for different size families. PYCA tries to maintain a “no-one-turned-away-for-lack-of-funds” policy, so contact PYCA for special arrangements.

Note: TAPAZ (Technical Assistance Partnership of Arizona) is an affiliate of the Vitalyst Health Foundation and the non-profit fiscal sponsor for Phoenix Youth Circus Arts.

COVID-19: For the time being, we will be taking precautions to avoid  spreading Covid-19. Students’ families will be asked to sign an additional waiver testifying to their lack of exposure to the virus and current good health. Students will remain as separated as possible – for now we will forgo partner acrobatics. Frequent hand sanitizing will take place. Hands-on spotting for safety will continue to be be used as needed. Masks will be required. We welcome your thoughts and input on these measures. Our goal is to be as prudent as possible and still have a vibrant and fun circus arts experience.

New Students: If you have not attended a PYCA class before, please download the two-sided registration/waiver form and send it to Jens via email or bring it with you to your first class. Or, you can fill a form out before starting class when you arrive. Students that have already turned in the registration during the year, do not need to re-register.

If you have your own home school group or a public, private, or charter school community that would like a single class or series of classes near to you, write to or call 480-444-8617.
