Circus arts are up and running again at ACCLAIM Academy, a K-8 charter school in West Phoenix. 32 kids from the 3rd through 6th grades are learning juggling, balancing, tumbling, and acrobatics with a team of 4 coaches. They will be preparing a program for the annual Concert for Peace, held by the school in December, and for a show at the end of the school year.
We also recorded a short greeting in response to a facebook request on behalf of a new social circus school in Sopayanga, El Salvador. It was good for the kids to be reminded that children like them are learning circus arts all over the world! (and now they know where El Salvador is!)
